NHL: Phoenix 3, Nashville 2

GLENDALE, Ariz., Dec. 5 (UPI) -- Patrick Fischer's game-winning goal halfway through the third period lifted the Phoenix Coyotes over the Nashville Predators, 3-2, Monday.

Oleg Saprykin and Yanic Perreault scored the other goals for the Coyotes, who have won four of their last five. Georges Laraque had a pair of assists. Mikael Tellqvist saved 19-of-21 shots for his first win for Phoenix.

Steve Sullivan and Alexander Radulov scored for the Predators, who lost their second straight. Shea Weber assisted both goals. Chris Mason stopped 39-of-42 shots.
