CORAL GABLES, Fla., Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Jack McClinton scored 22 points Sunday to lead Miami (Fla.) to a 90-82 victory over No. 24 Georgia Tech.
Anthony Harris had 21 points and six assists for Miami. Brian Asbury had 16 points, seven rebounds and three assists; and Raymond Hicks added 11 points, three rebounds and two assists for the Hurricanes (5-3, 1-0 ACC), who had dropped three of their four previous games.
Lewis Clinch had 22 points, two rebounds and two assists for Georgia Tech. Javaris Crittenton had 19 points, two rebounds and three assists; Ra'Sean Dickey had 19 points and five rebounds; and Jeremis Smith added 11 points, four rebounds and two assists for the Yellow Jackets (6-2, 0-1 ACC), who have dropped two of their last three games after opening the season with a five-game winning streak.
Miami led, 39-37, at the half, and out-rebounded the Yellow Jackets, 34-25.
