COL BKB: North Carolina 98, Ohio State 89

CHAPEL HILL, N.C., Nov. 29 (UPI) -- Tyler Hansbrough had 21 points and 14 rebounds Wednesday to lead No. 6 North Carolina to a 98-89 win over top-ranked Ohio State in the ACC/Big 10 Challenge.

Wayne Ellington added 19 points for the Tar Heels (5-1). Ty Lawson had 13 points and Brandan Wright had 11.

Ron Lewis scored a game-high 30 points for the Buckeyes (6-1). Ivan Harris added 17 points while Daequan Cook had 14 points and nine rebounds for Ohio State.

Ohio State played again without the nation's top incoming freshman, center Greg Oden, who has yet to play this season due to a wrist injury.
