ATLANTA, Nov. 28 (UPI) -- Anthony Morrow
hit a three-pointer with 50 seconds left and two free throws with seven seconds to go Tuesday as No. 24 Georgia Tech beat Penn State, 77-73.
Lewis Clinch scored 20 points, and Morrow 15 for the Yellow Jackets (6-1), who bounced back from an 88-73 loss to second-ranked UCLA in the Maui Invitational final.
Freshman Javaris Crittenton added. Fellow freshman Thaddeus Young missed the game with patellar tendinitis after scoring 13 in the loss to the Bruins.
Jamelle Cornley led the Nittany Lions (4-2) with 20 points while Geary Claxton scored 12 points in his second game back from a broken hand.
