SALT LAKE CITY, Nov. 25 (UPI) -- Carlos Boozer had 31 points and 16 rebounds to lead the Utah Jazz over the Los Angeles Lakers, 114-108, at EnergySolutions Arena.

Mehmet Okur added 18 points and 12 boards, and Deron Williams had 15 points and 10 assists for Utah, which has won eight straight.

Derek Fisher tallied 13 points and Gordan Giricek had 12 for the Jazz, who continued their best start in franchise history, improving to 12-1.

Kobe Bryant had 27 points and Lamar Odom had 26 points for the Lakers, who had a four-game win streak halted.
