PITTSBURGH, Nov. 25 (UPI) -- Brian Brohm passed for 337 yards and four touchdowns Saturday to lead the eighth-ranked Louisville Cardinals to a 48-24 win over the Pittsburgh Panthers.
Brohm completed 21-of-29 passes. Mario Urrutia had seven catches for 144 yards for the Cardinals (10-1,5-1 Big East), who are still in the hunt for their first Big East title and a berth in a BCS bowl game.
Louisville is tied with Rutgers atop the conference standings with one game remaining for each team. The Scarlet Knights, who travel to West Virginia for their regular-season finale next weekend, hold the tiebreaker over the Cardinals by virtue of their 28-25 win earlier this season.
Louisville is at home against Connecticut next Saturday.
Tyler Palko threw for 307 yards on 31-of-50 passing with a touchdown and three interceptions for the Panthers (6-6, 2-5), who ended their regular season with five straight losses.
