
NASHVILLE, Nov. 24 (UPI) -- Tomas Vokoun and Chris Mason combined to make 34 saves Thursday night as Nashville routed the Vancouver Canucks, 6-0.
Scott Hartnell had two goals and an assist; Shea Weber had a goal and an assist; Darcy Hordichuk scored his first goal of the season; Paul Kariya had three assists; and Martin Erat added two assists as the Predators won for the third time in their last four games.
Vokoun stopped 21 shots before leaving the game with a sprained wrist.
Nashhville scored two goals in the first period for a 2-0 lead, and added four goals in the second period to make the score 6-0.
Dany Sabourin allowed five goals on 24 shots; and was replaced by Roberto Luongo, who was beaten once on four shots for the Canucks, who had a three-game winning streak snapped.
On the power play, Nashville was 2-for-8; and the Canucks did not score on four chances.
