FAYETTEVILLE, Ark., Nov. 24 (UPI) -- JaMarcus Russell threw two touchdown passes Friday to help ninth-ranked LSU beat No. 5 Arkansas, 31-26.

He tossed a 7-yard scoring pass to Early Doucet early in the fourth quarter to give the Tigers a 24-12 lead, and Trindon Holliday returned a kickoff 92 yards to put the Tigers ahead, 31-19. LSU matched Arkansas point-for-point in the fourth quarter, when both teams scored two touchdowns, and had a 14-12 lead at the half.

Russell went 14-for-22 for 209 yards and no interceptions.

Keiland Williams scored once and gained 68 yards on 13 carries. Craig Davis caught a touchdown pass for the Tigers (10-2, 6-2 SEC West).

Darren McFadden scored twice and gained 182 yards on 21 rushing attempts, and Felix Jones added two touchdowns and 137 yards on 16 carries for the Razorbacks (10-2, 7-1 SEC West), who were eliminated in the BCS title game chase.
