SUNRISE, Fla., Nov. 23 (UPI) -- Tampa Bay erupted for four goals in the third period Wednesday night and beat the Florida Panthers, 6-4.
In the big period, Ryan Craig scored twice; while Dan Boyle and Brad Richards scored a goal each.
Richards also scored in the first period to give the Lightning a 2-0 lead.
Eric Perrin had a goal and an assist; Boyle had two assists; and Johan Holmqvist made 31 saves on 35 shots for the Lightning, who had lost three of their previous four games.
Olli Jokinen had a goal and two assists; Ville Peltonen and Ruslan Salei each had a goal and an assists; and Alex Auld gave up five goals on 33 shots for the Panthers, who have dropped six of their last eight games.
On the power play, Florida went 2-for-4; and Tampa Bay was 1-for-5.
