COL BKB: Pittsburgh 66, Oakland 55

PITTSBURGH, Nov. 20 (UPI) -- Aaron Gray had 23 points and 13 rebounds, and fifth-ranked Pittsburgh overcame a sluggish first half Sunday to beat Oakland, 66-55.

The Panthers out-scored the Grizzlies, 37-22, after trailing at the half, 33-29.

Levon Kendall had 11 points, nine rebounds and two assists; while Keith Benjamin scored eight points for the Panthers (5-0), who have won all of their games by double digits.

Vova Severovas had 17 points and four rebounds, Erik Kangas had 11 points and two rebounds, and Shawn Hopes scored 10 points for the Grizzlies (3-2).

The contest was part of the Colonial Basketball Classic.
