NHL: N.Y. Islanders 4, Florida 1

SUNRISE, Fla., Nov. 19 (UPI) -- Mike Dunham made 43 saves Saturday night to lead the New York Islanders to a 4-1 win over the Florida Panthers.

Alexei Yashin and Jason Blake each had a goal and an assist, and Arron Asham and Miroslav Satan each scored a goal for the Islanders, who won for the third time in their last four games.

Ville Peltonen scored, and Ed Belfour made 28 saves on 31 shots for the Panthers, who lost for the fifth time in six games.

Yashin scored the Islanders' first goal with 8:05 left in the first period. Florida tied the game at 1-1 2:26 into the second period on Peltonen's goal.

Asham put the Islanders ahead, 2-1, with 5:41 left in the second.

Florida was 0-for-3 on the power play, and the Islanders failed to score on their only man advantage opportunity.
