LOUISVILLE, Ky., Nov. 19 (UPI) -- Brian Brohm completed 19-of-33 passes for 274 yards and two TDs Saturday to lead the 12th-ranked Louisville Cardinals to a 31-8 win over South Florida.

Gary Barnidge had five receptions for 112 yards, and Harry Douglas caught seven passes for 86 yards and two TDs.

Anthony Allen rushed for only 34 yards on 12 carries, but scored twice for the Cardinals (9-1, 4-1 Big East), who rebounded from their loss last week at Rutgers.

Matt Grothe passed for 237 yards on 15-of-31 with one touchdown and one interception. Ricky Ponton rushed 11 times for 52 yards and Amp Hill caught a TD pass for the Bulls (7-4, 3-3 Big East).

Louisville is in a three-way with West Virginia and Rutgers for first place in the Big East.
