COL BKB: Oral Roberts 78, Kansas 71

LAWRENCE, Kan., Nov. 15 (UPI) -- Oral Roberts came up with an early-season shocker Wednesday night by stunning third-ranked Kansas, 78-71, on the Jayhawks' home court.

Marchello Vealy scored 22 points and had 11 rebounds for the Golden Eagles (1-1), while Adam Liberty and Ken Tutt both added 12 points apiece.

Darrell Arthur led Kansas (1-1) with 22 points and 11 boards.

Oral Roberts took control with a 14-2 run in the first half and led most of the way after that.
