NHL: Ottawa 4, Buffalo 2

BUFFALO, N.Y., Nov. 15 (UPI) -- Jason Spezza, Peter Schaefer and Chris Phillips scored third-period goals Wednesday as Ottawa handed the Buffalo Sabres their second loss of the season, 4-2.

Chris Neil also scored for the Senators, who snapped a four-game losing streak, while goaltender Ray Emery had 27 saves to 19 for Buffalo's Martin Biron.

Thomas Vanek and Daniel Briere each had a goal for Buffalo. Vanek has five goals in the past five games while Briere has scored five goals and six assists in the past six contests.
