COL BKB: Washington 102, Nicholls State 74

SEATTLE, Nov. 14 (UPI) -- Brandon Burmeister led a balanced attack as 17th-ranked Washington pummeled Nicholls State, 102-74, Monday.

Burmeister had 17 points, Justin Dentmon added 16, Quincy Pondexter had 14 and Jon Brockman ended with 12 points and 10 rebounds. The Huskies (2-0) won despite 23 turnovers.

Adonis Gray had 29 points and Aaron Scott tallied 24 for Nicholls State (0-3), which fell behind early by shooting 29.2 percent in the opening half, compared to 57.6 percent for the Huskies.
