
JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Nov. 13 (UPI) -- The Houston Texans led, 10-0, after the first quarter Sunday afternoon and went on to beat Jacksonville, 13-10.
Wali Lundy ran for a one-yard touchdown in the game's first four minutes and Kris Brown kicked a 25-yard field goal to give the Texans their early lead.
David Carr completed 16 of 32 passes for 167 yards; Samkon Gado rushed for 67 yards on 17 carries; while Andre Johnson and Owen Daniels combined to make seven catches for 111 yards for the Texans (3-6), who had lost their previous two games.
Carr suffered a bruised left shoulder in the fourth quarter.
David Garrard was only 15-for-34 for 214 yards and four interceptions; while adding 44 yards on four attempts; and wide receiver Maurice Jones-Drew caught a touchdown pass for the Jaguars (5-4), who had a brief two-game winning streak snapped.
Jones-Drew's touchdown pulled Jacksonville within 13-10 with 4:32 remaining.
