COL FB: Wake Forest 30, Florida State 0

TALLAHASSEE, Fla., Nov. 12 (UPI) -- Riley Skinner threw for 138 yards and a TD and Kevin Patterson returned an interception for a TD Saturday as No. 18 Wake Forest beat Florida State, 30-0.

Skinner went 13-for-19 and Sam Swank kicked three field goals for the Demon Deacons (9-1, 5-1 ACC), who won their fourth straight -- and handed the Seminoles their first shutout since Miami beat them, 31-0, in 1988.

Kenneth Moore rushed for 80 yards on 24 carries and caught five passes for 35 yards to finish with 115 yards total offense.

Quarterbacks Xavier Lee and Drew Weatherford combined for 113 yards passing with two interceptions each for the Seminoles (5-5, 3-5), who were held to just 139 total yards total offense, compared to 307 yards for Wake.

The Seminoles missed a chance to score in the second quarter, when Gary Cismesia missed a 46-yard field goal attempt.
