Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Nov. 6 (UPI) -- New York Giants defensive end Michael Strahan may miss up to four weeks of play because of a ligament sprain in his right foot.
Giants officials on Monday said Strahan sprained the Lis France ligament in his foot during the second quarter of New York's victory Sunday over the Houston Texans.
They said tests Monday showed no fracture or dislocation and said the injury would not require surgery to repair. However, Strahan is expected to be on crutches and in a walking boot for at least a week.
