NHL: Phoenix 6, Los Angeles 4

GLENDALE, Ariz., Nov. 5 (UPI) -- Two goals by Shane Doan Saturday night helped the Phoenix Coyotes beat Los Angeles, 6-4.

Ed Jovanovski's power-play goal at 5:33 of the second period was the eventual game-winner.

Enver Lisin, Georges Laraque and Dennis Seidenberg all scored once. Ladislav Nagy had three assists, and goalies Curtis Joseph and David LeNeveu gave up four goals on 43 shots for the Coyotes, who snapped a two-game losing streak.

LeNeveu stopped 38-of-40 shots.

Anze Kopitar, Tom Kostopoulos, Derek Armstrong and Alexander Frolov all scored once for Los Angeles. Aaron Miller, Michael Cammalleri and Mattias Norstrom all had two assists.

Goaltender Mathieu Garon allowed five goals on 17 shots before being pulled early in the second period. His replacement, Dan Cloutier, gave up one goal on seven shots for the Kings, who have lost seven of their last eight games.

On the power play, Phoenix went 2-for-7, while the Kings were 1-for-5.
