NHL: Buffalo 4, N.Y. Rangers 3

NEW YORK, Nov. 5 (UPI) -- Daniel Briere scored two goals, including the game-winner with 1:03 left in overtime Sunday, as Buffalo came from behind to beat the New York Rangers, 4-3.

Buffalo's Jason Pominville had tied the game in the third period with his ninth goal of the season. Goaltender Martin Biron, starting in place of Ryan Miller, made 26 saves as the Sabres bounced back from Saturday's loss to Toronto -- their only loss in regulation so far this season.

Jaromir Jagr had a goal and two assists for the Rangers, who had won three of their last four games. The Rangers scored three power-play goals in the second period to go up, 3-1. Goalie Kevin Weeks finished with 24 saves for the Rangers.

New York was 3- for-6 on the power play, while Buffalo was 1-for-4 with the man advantage.
