NBA: Philadelphia 107, Miami 98

PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 5 (UPI) -- Philadelphia ran its season-opening winning streak to three games Sunday afternoon, beating the Miami Heat, 107-98.

The 76ers took control in the third quarter when they out-scored the Heat, 28-16. Reserve forward Kyle Korver scored 13 of his 22 points in that stanza.

Allen Iverson had 31 points and 13 assists for the Sixers, and Andre Iguodala had 20 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Chris Webber added 10 points, 11 rebounds and four assists.

For the reigning NBA champion Heat, who have struggled out of the gate, Antoine Walker had 23 points and three assists. Dwayne Wade had 20 points, 11 assists, two steals and a team-high five turnovers. Udonis Haslem had 17 points, 16 rebounds and four assists.

Veteran center Shaquille O'Neal did not play because of a knee injury.

Miami, which was out-rebounded, 43-40, has started the new season with two losses in its first three games.
