MIE, Japan, Nov. 5 (UPI) -- With five birdies on the back nine Sunday, Karrie Webb won the Mizuno Classic golf tournament by four shots.
The late rush enabled Webb to beat Japan LPGA veteran Kaori Higo, who shot the day's lowest round, a 7-under 65.
Webb finished 14-under 202 to 10-under 206 for Higo.
In the process, Webb snapped Annika Sorenstam's streak of five straight titles at this event.
"My putter was really good today," Webb said. "My shot was stable because the course condition was very good. But I think it was my putter that made me play so good."
It was Webb's 35th career victory.
She tied fellow Hall of Famer Patty Sheehan for 12th place on the LPGA Tour's all-time wins list and earned $180,000 to cross the $2 million level in earnings this season.
Sorenstam (70) shared third place with Brittany Lang (70), Aree Song (70), and Jeong Eun Lee (70) at 9-under 207.
