COL FB: Arkansas 26, South Carolina 20

COLUMBIA, S.C., Nov. 4 (UPI) -- Darren McFadden ran for a career-high 219 yards and two touchdowns Saturday as 12th-ranked Arkansas nipped the South Carolina Gamecocks, 26-20.

Casey Dick completed 11-of-19 passes for 228 yards and a touchdown for the Razorbacks (8-1, 5-0 SEC), who won for the eighth straight time, after a season opening loss to Southern California.

Marcus Monk caught eight passes for 192 yards and a touchdown for Arkansas.

Backup quarterback Blake Mitchell was 15-of-21 for 213 yards with two touchdowns and an interception for the Gamecocks (5-4, 3-4), who lost their second straight game, and still need one more win to become bowl eligible.

Sidney Rice had seven receptions for 126 yards and a TD, while Kenny McKinley also caught a TD pass.
