
BOISE, Idaho, Nov. 2 (UPI) -- Jared Zabransky threw three TD passes and Ian Johnson rushed for two scores Wednesday night as No. 14 Boise State beat Fresno State, 45-21.
Zabransky completed 18-of-24 passes for 180 yards and one interception. Johnson gained 136 yards on 24 carries for the Broncos (9-0, 5-0 WAC). Jerard Rabb, Vinny Perretta and Drisan James caught touchdown passes from Zabransky, and Anthony Montgomery kicked a 38-yard field goal in the first period.
Dwayne Wright picked up 95 yards on the ground for the Bulldogs (1-7, 1-3), who have lost seven straight since opening the season with a 28-19 victory over Nevada. Tom Brandstater connected on 7-of-14 passes for 72 yards, one TD and one interception, and Chastin West scored on a 93-yard kickoff return.
