LOUISVILLE, Ky., Oct. 30 (UPI) -- Jockey Olivier Peslier will get another chance at capturing the crown in the $2 Million Emirates Airline Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf at Churchill Downs.
Peslier is due to be aboard Quiet Royal, who worked four furlongs in 49 2/5 Sunday on the turf course.
"We got her after the Queen Elizabeth (Oct. 14, Keeneland) and she obviously has a lot of talent," trainer Todd Pletcher said. "That was her first start in this country. She has been at Churchill Downs and the only question with her will be the mile and three-eighths."
Quiet Royal ran third in the nine-furlong Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup on Oct. 1.
Among the other Filly & Mare Turf entrants, Dancing Edie and Film Maker walked the shedrow Monday. Ouija Board, last year's winner, was still in quarantine but was expected to hit the track Tuesday. Also still in quarantine was Satwa Queen.
