
NASHVILLE, Oct. 29 (UPI) -- Vince Young passed for one touchdown and ran for another Sunday afternoon as the Tennessee Titans beat Houston, 28-22.
The rookie out of the University of Texas was 7-for-15 passing for 87 yards, and rushed for 44 yards on four attempts.
Pacman Jones had an interception and returned a punt for a touchdown, while Bobby Wade caught a touchdown pass for the Titans (2-5), who have a two-game winning streak.
Tennessee was out-gained in total net yards, 427-197, but forced five Houston turnovers.
In a rough day, David Carr completed 15 of 21 passes for 113 yards, but threw an interception and lost two fumbles.
His replacement, Sage Rosenfels, was 18-for-25 for 186 yards, three touchdowns and one interception.
Andre Johnson scored once on nine catches for 78 yards, Owen Daniels caught two touchdown passes and Wali Lundy rushed for 116 yards on 18 carries for the Texans (2-5).
