LUBBOCK, Texas, Oct. 29 (UPI) -- Colt McCoy complete 21 of 31 passes for 256 yards and four touchdowns Saturday as No. 5 Texas came back to beat Texas Tech, 35-31.
Jamaal Charles carried the ball 12 times for 85 yards and Selvin Young picked up 78 yards and a touchdown on 20 rushes for the Longhorns (8-1, 5-0 Big 12), who have won a league-record 20 straight Big 12 games. Quan Cosby caught seven passes for 79 yards and a touchdown, and Nate Jones, Jordan Shipley and Limas Sweed caught TD passes for Texas.
The Longhorns defense held Texas Tech to minus-one rushing yards, but the pass defense was porous -- as quarterback Graham Harrell went 42-of-62 passes for 519 yards, three touchdowns and one interception for the Red Raiders (5-4, 2-3), who have lost three of their past four games.
Jarrett Hicks caught nine passes for 156 yards and a touchdown, and Shannon Woods and Eric Morris also caught TD passes for Texas Tech.
