CHESTNUT HILL, Mass., Oct. 28 (UPI) -- Chris Crane ran for two touchdowns and passed for another Saturday while leading 17h-ranked Boston College to a 41-0 rout of Buffalo.

Crane, playing for injured Matt Ryan, completed 17-of-26 passes for 142 yards with an interception and had 12 of BC's 207 rushing yards. L.V. Whitworth ran for 84 yards and a touchdown, while Andre Callender added 81 rushing yards.

The Eagles (7-1) have won four in a row.

Buffalo (1-7) has lost seven straight since its lone win of the season in its opener against Temple. The Bulls had just 92 total yards -- including minus-12 on the ground.
