NEW YORK, Oct. 25 (UPI) -- Atlanta tight end Alge Crumpler Wednesday was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week.

The six-year veteran out of North Carolina had three touchdowns on six receptions for 117 yards as the Falcons beat Pittsburgh, 41-38, in overtime Sunday. His 26-yard catch helped set up Morten Anderson's game-winning 32-yard field goal.

Other NFC honorees were cornerback Ronde Barber (defense); and place-kicker Matt Bryant (special teams), both of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Barber made six tackles, forced a fumble, and returned two interceptions for touchdowns as the Bucs beat Philadelphia, 23-21.

In that contest, Bryant, who is in his fifth season from Baylor, booted a 62-yard field goal as time expired.

The kick was the third-longest in NFL history and the second-longest game-winning field goal ever.

It was Barber's the sixth career Player of the Week Award for Barber; and Bryant's third honor.
