SUNRISE, Fla., Oct. 23 (UPI) -- Ilya Kovalchuk had a hat trick Monday as the Atlanta Thrashers rallied from a two-goal deficit to beat the Florida Panthers, 6-3.
Vyacheslav Kozlov had four assists and Marian Hossa added a goal and an assist for Atlanta, which has won four in a row and seven of its last eight game.
Kari Lehtonen made 25 saves in the win.
Joel Kwiatkowski and Bryan Allen both scored for the Panthers, who have lost four of their last five games. Alexander Auld allowed five goals on 19 shots before being pulled in favor of Ed Belfour, who made seven saves in eight attempts.
