NFL: Kansas City 30, San Diego 27

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Oct. 22 (UPI) -- Lawrence Tynes booted a game-winning 53-yard field goal with six seconds left Sunday afternoon as Kansas City edged the San Diego Chargers, 30-27.

Damon Huard passed for 232 yards and two touchdowns; Larry Johnson rushed for 132 yards on 28 carries; Tony Gonzalez caught six balls for 138 yards; Tynes kicked two field goals; while both Kris Wilson and Eddie Kennison caught touchdown passes for the Chiefs (3-3).

Kansas City has won three of its last four games.

Philip Rivers completed 25 of 43 passes for 266 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception; LaDainian Tomlinson rushed for 66 yards on 15 carries, caught six passes for 72 yards, and threw his fifth career touchdown pass; Antonio Gates added a touchdown on nine receptions for 63 yards; and Nate Kaeding kicked two field goals for the Chargers (4-2), who had a two-game winning streak broken.
