NFL: Denver 17, Cleveland 7

CLEVELAND, Oct. 22 (UPI) -- Tatum Bell gained 115 yards on 24 carries and scored once Sunday afternoon as the Denver Broncos beat Cleveland, 17-7.

Jake Plummer completed 20 of 41 passes for 209 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. Javon Walker made nine receptions for 107 yards and Brandon Marshall scored on a nine-yard pass for his first NFL touchdown for the Broncos (5-1), who have won two of their last three games.

Five different Cleveland players reached double-digits in receiving yards, but only Joe Jurevicius scored a touchdown. Reuben Droughns had 33 yards rushing on 12 carries and quarterback Charlie Frye completed 19 of 33 passes for 149 yards for the Browns (1-5).

Cleveland's touchdown was only the second score surrendered by Denver's defense this season.
