PITTSBURGH, Oct. 21 (UPI) -- Ray Rice rushed for 225 yards Saturday as the 19th-ranked Rutgers Scarlet Knights remained unbeaten with a 20-10 win over the Pittsburgh Panthers.
Tiquan Underwood caught five passes for the Scarlet Knights (7-0, 2-0 Big East), who are off to their best start since going 11-0 in 1976. Rutgers quarterback Mike Teel passed for only 72 yards and a score.
Tyler Palko completed 16-of-26 passes for 169 yards and a touchdown for the Panthers (6-2, 2-1), who entered the game with a four-game winning streak.
LaRod Stephens-Howling rushed for 55 yards and caught two passes for 26 yards.
