COL FB: Boston College 24, Florida St. 19

TALLAHASSEE, Fla., Oct. 21 (UPI) -- DeJuan Tribble returned an interception 36 yards for a touchdown Saturday as 21st-ranked Boston College defeated the Florida State Seminoles, 24-19.

Matt Ryan gained 262 yards on 16-of-26 passing with one interception, and linebacker Brian Toal scored a rushing touchdown for the Eagles (6-1, 3-1 ACC).

L.V. Whitworth rushed for 53 yards and a TD in the victory.

Drew Weatherford completed 32 of his 48 passes for 326 yards with one passing and one rushing touchdown, but had two interceptions for the Seminoles (4-3, 2-3 ACC), who have lost two of their last three games.

Chris Davis caught 10 passes for 100 yards and Greg Carr had three catches for 41 yards and a score in the loss. Lorenzo Booker added 75 yards on eight receptions.
