IRVING, Texas, Oct. 15 (UPI) -- Dallas erupted for 31 points in the second half Sunday to crush the Houston Texans, 34-6.
Houston was scoreless after grabbing a 6-3 halftime advantage.
Terrell Owens caught three second half touchdown passes; Julius Jones gained 106 yards on 22 carries for his third straight 100-yard game rushing; and Drew Bledsoe went 17-for-28 with 168 yards and two touchdowns as the Cowboys improved to 3-2 for the year.
Bledsoe's first touchdown pass was the 250th of his career. He is the 12th player in NFL history to reach that plateau.
His back-up, Tony Romo, recorded his first pass completion and first touchdown pass as a pro.
David Carr went 15-for-27 for 128 yards and two interceptions; Andre Johnson had nine receptions for 75 yards; and Kris Brown kicked two field goals for the Texans (1-4), who beat Miami last Sunday for their only victory of the season.
