MOSCOW, Oct. 15 (UPI) -- Anna Chakvetadze beat Nadia Petrova in straight sets Sunday to win the Ladies Kremlin Cup tennis tournament in Moscow.

The 19-year-old Chakvetadze bagged her second WTA title, beating her fellow Russian and the tournament's fourth seed Petrova, 6-4, 6-4. With the victory, Chakvetadze built her match winning streak to 10 straight.

"I'd come to watch the Kremlin Cup with my parents from the age of six, and I never thought I'd play in this tournament," Chakvetadze said. "So I'm definitely going to buy myself something as a reward for this victory. I'm also going to celebrate this victory with my family and friends."

The 24-year-old Petrova fell to 0-3 lifetime against Chakvetadze. She had an eight-match winning streak broken while failing to win her seventh tour title.

Chakvetadze made a dream run to the final by beating Top 10 stars and fellow Russians Dinara Safina and Elena Dementieva.
