COL FB: USC 28, Arizona State 21

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 14 (UPI) -- Chauncey Washington scored the game-winning touchdown in the fourth quarter as third-ranked Southern California survived Arizona State, 28-21, Saturday.

Washington rushed 22 times for 108 yards, John David Booty completed 12-of-25 passes for 148 yards with two touchdowns and an interception and Dwayne Jarrett caught six passes for 60 yards and a touchdown for USC. C.J. Gable ran for 26 yards and a score.

USC (6-0, 4-0 Pac-10) extended its Pac-10 winning streak to 26 games and home winning streak to 30 games.

Ryan Torain rushed 20 times for 57 yards and a touchdown, while also catching three passes for 39 yards for the Sun Devils (3-3, 0-3), who have dropped three straight conference games.

Rudy Carpenter completed 12-of-21 passes for 124 yards and a touchdown for Arizona State in the loss.
