Oct. 13, 2006 at 7:06 AM

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 13 (UPI) -- Antti Miettinen scored 19 seconds into the game and Eric Lindros had three assists in helping the Dallas Stars to a 4-1 victory over the Los Angeles Kings.

Mike Modano, Brenden Morrow and Jussi Jokinen also scored goals for Dallas and Marty Turco made 31 saves as the Stars improved to 3-0 on the season. Raitis Ivanans scored the lone goal for 2-2 Los Angeles.

Miettinen's first goal of the season game off a pass from Niklas Hagman with the game just 19 seconds old.

Lindros started his assist barrage later in the period with a hard shot that rebounded from Kings goalkeeper Dan Cloutier. Modano, despite falling, was able to flip a wrist shot into the goal at the 14:22 mark.

Early in the second period Modano, who had received the puck from Lindros, found Morrow, whose deflected shot made the score 3-0.

Los Angeles got on the board early in the third period with Ivanans' first goal of the season but Dallas went up 4-1 at the 13:09 mark when Lindros fed Jokinen for a power-play goal.
