DENVER, Oct. 9 (UPI) -- Darrent Williams' late interception led a standout defensive effort Monday night as the Denver Broncos downed the previously unbeaten Baltimore Ravens, 13-3.

Jake Plummer secured the win with a late touchdown pass to Rod Smith. Plummer was 13-of-24 for 106 yards with an interception for the Broncos (3-1), who have won 12 straight games at home.

Tatum Bell led the rushing attack with 92 yards on 19 carries, while Javon Walker had five receptions for 63 yards.

Steve McNair was 20-of-34 for 165 yards with no touchdowns and three interceptions for Baltimore (4-1), which was off to its best start in franchise history. Jamal Lewis was limited to 43 yards on 15 carries.

Two of the league's best defenses ruled the night, each unit controlling the line of scrimmage and frustrating the opponent's offense for the majority of the game.
