NFL: New England 20, Miami 10

FOXBORO, Mass., Oct. 8 (UPI) -- Tom Brady tossed two touchdown passes Sunday to lead New England past the Miami Dolphins, 20-10.

Both scoring passes followed interceptions by defensive back Asante Samuel in the second and fourth quarters.

Brady had a sub-par day, completing 16-of-29 passes for only 140 yards.

The Patriots led 13-10 at halftime, and held Miami scoreless in the second half.

Troy Brown caught five passes for one touchdown and 58 yards, Heath Evans caught a touchdown pass and Corey Dillon and Laurence Maroney were limited to a combined 83 yards on 28 rushing attempts for the Patriots (4-1).

For Miami (1-4), Harrington -- who made his first start with the Dolphins for the injured Daunte Culpepper -- was 26-of-41 for 232 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions. Ronnie Brown rushed for a touchdown and 39 yards on 17 carries and Wes Welker had nine receptions for 77 yards.
