NFL: Carolina 20, Cleveland 12

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Oct. 8 (UPI) -- Jake Delhomme completed 20-of-29 passes for 170 yards and one touchdown Sunday as Carolina beat the Cleveland Browns, 20-12.

Keyshawn Johnson had five receptions for 67 yards and the scoring strike. DeShaun Foster rushed for 106 yards on 24 carries, Steve Smith made six catches for 62 yards and Richard Marshall returned an interception 30 yards for a touchdown for the Panthers (3-2), who have won three straight games after starting the season 0-2.

For Cleveland (1-4), Charlie Frye was 26-of-43 for 173 yards and two interceptions. Reuben Droughns had 65 yards rushing on 18 carries, Kellen Winslow Jr. made eight receptions for 55 yards and Phil Dawson kicked four field goals.
