
GREENSBORO, N.C., Oct. 8 (UPI) -- Davis Love III Sunday was a two-shot winner at the PGA's Chrysler Classic golf tournament in Greensboro, N.C., breaking a three-year winless streak.
Love shot 6-under-par 66 in the final round and won the title with a total of 16-under 272.
"It really makes me feel good to win in my home state," Love, a native of Charlotte, told the Winston-Salem Journal. "This tournament has always been good to me and it feels great to win, especially after so long."
He collected his 19th PGA Tour victory, but only his first since winning The International in 2003.
Jason Bohn also shot 66 on Sunday to finish alone in second at 14-under 274. Eric Axley (67) and Steve Flesch (68) tied for third at 13-under 275.
Nick Watney (68), Troy Matteson (68), Ryan Moore (69), Joe Durant (69), Lucas Glover (69) and Daniel Chopra (69) shared sixth place at 11-under 277.
