BERKELEY, Calif., Oct. 8 (UPI) -- Nate Longshore threw for three touchdowns and ran for another Saturday as No. 17 California blasted 11th-ranked Oregon, 45-24.

Longshore completed 14-of-26 passes for 189 yards and was intercepted twice. DeSean Jackson scored on a 64-yard punt return, Justin Forsett rushed for a touchdown on 27 carries for 164 yards and both Craig Stevens and Robert Jordan caught touchdown passes for the Golden Bears (5-1, 3-0 Pac-10).

Oregon quarterback Dennis Dixon went 20-of-35 passing for 263 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions. Jordan Kent had six receptions for 113 yards and James Finley and Jaison Williams each caught a touchdown pass for the Ducks (4-1, 2-1 Pac-10), who had a four-game winning streak broken.
