CARY, N.C., Oct. 7 (UPI) -- Tom Jenkins used four back-nine birdies on Saturday to post a 6-under 66 and take a one-shot lead after two rounds of the seniors SAS Championship.
Jenkins is at 10-under 134 after 36 holes.
Chip Beck, playing in his third Champions Tour event, had a 7-under 65 and is tied for second place with overnight co-leader Loren Roberts (68) at 135.
Mitch Adcock, who was tied with Roberts after Friday's first round, shot 69 Saturday and is fourth at 136.
Jay Haas, second to Roberts on the tour's money list, had a 66 and is fifth at 137. Last week's winner Andy Bean (69) and Jim Ahern (70) are tied for sixth at 139.
Raymond Floyd (69), Gil Morgan (69), two-time winner this year Brad Bryant (71) and Scott Hoch (71) are tied for eighth at 140.
