COL FB: Georgia Tech 27, Maryland 23

ATLANTA, Oct. 7 (UPI) -- Tashard Choice rushed for 138 yards and two touchdowns Saturday as No. 20 Georgia Tech rebounded from a nine-point deficit to defeat Maryland, 27-23.

Reggie Ball completed 13-of-25 passes for 161 yards and a touchdown for the Yellow Jackets (5-1, 3-0 ACC), who won their fifth straight. Calvin Johnson caught 10 passes for 133 yards and a touchdown.

Sam Hollenbach completed 16-of-24 passes for 190 yards with a touchdown and an interception for the Terrapins (3-2, 0-1). Lance Ball rushed for 116 yards on 23 attempts and Darrius Heyward-Bey caught five passes for 111 yards.

Trailing 23-21, the Jackets' defense set up the offense as KaMichael Hall recovered a Ball fumble at the Maryland 17. Choice needed two tries to run it in with 10:10 on the clock.
