AUBURN, Ala., Oct. 7 (UPI) -- Unranked Arkansas rushed for 277 yards Saturday afternoon and shocked third-ranked Auburn, 27-10.
The Razorbacks won the contest despite playing on the road and using a freshman quarterback.
That freshman, Mitch Mustain, was 7-of-10 passing for one touchdown and 87 yards.
Darren McFadden, who scored on a 63-yard run in the second quarter, gained 144 yards on 28 carries; Felix Jones rushed for a touchdown on 13 carries for 103 yards; and Jeremy Davis kicked two field goals for the Razorbacks (4-1, 3-0 SEC West).
Brandon Cox went 17-for-29 for 154 yards, one second quarter touchdown, and was sacked five times; and Kenny Irons rushed for 75 yards on 15 carries for the Tigers (5-1, 3-1 SEC West).
The Razorbacks have recovered from a season-opening 50-14 loss to Southern California to win four straight games, and avenged a 34-17 loss to the Tigers last season.
