Ochoa leads in Mexico after course record

MICHOACAN, Mexico, Oct. 6 (UPI) -- Lorena Ochoa shot a course-record 9-under 64 Friday to take the lead after two rounds of the Corona Morelia Championship in Michoacan, Mexico.

Ochoa's round featured an eagle, eight birdies and one bogey. She heads into the third round at 11-under 135, three shots ahead of Sun Young Yoo, who shot a 6-under 67 Friday.

Ochoa's 135 is also a tournament record for 36 holes.

Kelli Kuehne shot a 3-under 70 and is in third place at 7-under 139. Julieta Granada and Heather Young both shot 70 for a second straight day, and are tied for fourth at 6-under 140.
