Arbitrators rule against Orioles pitcher Bergesen

TULSA, Okla., Oct. 3 (UPI) -- Paul Smith had 270 total yards and a touchdown Tuesday as the Tulsa Golden Hurricanes posted a 20-6 victory over Southern Mississippi.
For Tulsa (4-1, 1-0 C-USA), Smith ran for 68 yards, while Courtney Tennial had 120 yards and a touchdown.
Idris Moss caught three passes for 83 yards, one of nine Golden Hurricane to catch at least one pass. Tulsa had 455 total yards, including 252 on the ground.
For Southern Mississippi (3-2, 1-1), Stephen Reaves was 11-of-27 for 98 yards and Jeremy Young 3-of-12 for 25 yards and an interception.
