
LANDOVER, Md., Oct. 1 (UPI) -- Santana Moss scored on a 68-yard touchdown pass from Mark Brunell in overtime Sunday as Washington beat Jacksonville, 36-30.
It was the third touchdown catch of the game for Moss, who caught four passes for 138 yards overall.
Brunell was 18-of-30 for 329 yards, the three touchdowns, and one interception; Chris Cooley made four catches for 70 yards; Clinton Portis rushed for one touchdown on 27 carries for 112 yards; and John Hall kicked three field goals for the Redskins (2-2).
Byron Leftwich, who played high school football in the Washington, D.C. area, was 21-of-35 for 289 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception; Reggie Williams scored two touchdowns on five receptions for 93 yards; Maurice Jones-Drew had one touchdown on three catches for 53 yards; while Josh Scobee also kicked three field goals for the Jaguars (2-2).
