NFL: Houston 17, Miami 15

HOUSTON, Oct. 1 (UPI) -- Houston stopped a two-point conversion attempt with 1:39 left Sunday and beat the Miami Dolphins, 17-15, for its first win of the year.

The Texans out-scored the Dolphins, 14-9, in a wild fourth quarter.

David Carr was 22-of-29 passing for 230 yards, one touchdown, and one interception; Andre Johnson scored once on nine receptions for 101 yards; Eric Moulds caught four passes for 76 yards; and Ron Dayne gained 58 yards on 22 carries for the Texans (1-3).

Daunte Culpepper was 23-of-39 for 249 yards and one touchdown; Ronnie Brown rushed for 49 yards on 12 carries and added eight receptions for 62 yards; Randy McMichael had four catches for 54 yards; while Wes Welker made four receptions for 55 yards for the Dolphins (1-3).
